The Formation
Many of the original members attended Woodlands High School in Texas and met as teenagers. The leader of the group, Kevin Abstract, posted on an online forum titled KanyeToThe seeking additional members. Under the original name AliveSinceForever, the group released their first EP in 2013 titled The ASF EP. By the end of 2014 the group made changes and continued as Brockhampton. In January 2015, their debut single “Bet I” as Brockhampton was released. Following the release of other singles, their debut mixtape All-American Trash was released in 2016.
Defining Their Band
The group continued to release lots of new music over the years. They caught the attention of many, including Sony’s RCA Records who they signed a deal with in 2018. In June of 2018 they also appeared on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon. Their 2018 album Iridescence was the first album to debut at number one on the US Billboard 200. They continued with more success by earning their first nomination for the Best International Group at the 2019 BRIT Awards.
Heaven Belongs to You Tour
Brockhampton announced their North American tour to support their newest album, Ginger. Fans were ready to grab these tickets as soon as they went on sale. The tour began on October 26th at the PNE Forum in Vancouver. And they didn’t travel alone! Slowthai accompanied the group on a variety of dates. Stops on this tour included the Aztec Theatre in San Antonio, the Agganis Arena in Boston, The Fillmore in Philadelphia, The Mission Ballroom in Denver, and more before concluding at The Hollywood Palladium in Los Angeles.
