Storming the stage in the 1980s
The origin story of Blackfoot involves lineup changes and relocation, but by the mid 1970s the band had begun working towards their first album. No Reservations was released in 1975, with Flying High following the next year. With singles "Train, Train" and "Highway Song," along with tours supporting bands like The Who, Blackfoot enjoyed a decent amount of success. However, when Southern rock started to fade in popularity, the band turned up the rock. By the time the 1990s rolled around, the band was back to its roots. But when lead vocalist Medlocke got an offer from Lynyrd Skynyrd, Blackfoot broke up in 1997. Blackfoot came back with several of its original members, though not Medlocke, in 2004. They immediately went back to touring, but it wasn't until 2016 that a new Blackfoot album was released. Southern Native became the band's first studio album since 1994's After the Reign.
While Blackfoot has morphed over the years, the band still rocks hard in its signature Southern fashion. Get in on the action yourself by picking up your cheap Blackfoot tickets today!
