American League Championship Series Tickets

Finally, the American League Championship series is set! The New York Yankees face off against the Houston Astros in a best of seven game series.

The Yankees got here by defeating the Cleveland Guardians in the Divisional Series. The series went to decisive fifth game which saw the Yankees bats coming alive and ending Cleveland's postseason dreams. Let's take a look at how these two powerhouse ballclubs fare:

While Houston may have the upper hand in terms of starting pitching, the Yankees starters have all looked excellent this postseason. As good as Houston's lineup is, the Yankees offer much more depth and power; however, strikeout's plagued them in their ALDS series with Cleveland. Aaron Judge struck out 11 times in five games, and the team hit just .182. This is the ALCS that baseball fans have been anticipating all season. Let's see if the Yankees lineup can overpower Houston's pitching depth. Jameson Taillon will take the mound for the Yankees in Game 1.

Houston's pitching ace Justin Verlander lasted just 4 innings in his Game 1 ALDS start against the Seattle Mariners. You can believe things will be different this time around, as Verlander will take the mound for Game 1 against the Bronx Bombers. Houston relies heavily on the top of their lineup, whereas the Yankees have depth throughout. Keep an eye on Yordan Alvarez who has been absolutely on fire as he drove in seven RBIs in the first two games against Seattle.
