Amber Liu is an American singer, songwriter, and rapper. She initially made her debut as a part of a South Korean girl group, called f(x), about ten years ago. After spending some time with this group, she went solo and released her first extended play titled Beautiful. Since that time, she has made a name for herself with a number of subsequent solo singles that she has released. She has forayed into multiple genres of music including EDM, R&B, and even K-pop (often short for Korean pop). Amber Liu is originally from the Los Angeles area in the western United States. She became interested in music from a young age and started off by performing locally.
