After reading Alexander Hamilton’s biography, Lin-Manuel Miranda knew his story couldn’t go unnoticed. So, what did he do? Write another hit-musical, of course! Alexander Hamilton was a Founding Father who immigrated from the West Indies. After coming to New York in 1776, he met and worked closely with various notable people. Some include Aaron Burr and George Washington. The Revolutionary War was a time of chaos but also held years of significance for Alexander. He met and fell in love with Elizabeth Schuyler, despite being from very different backgrounds. Managing his duties while doing his best to maintain a safe and ordinary life posed many challenges.
