My one-night stay at the Hyatt Regency Vancouver on November 8-9, 2025, was overall a positive and comfortable experience. The hotel staff were professional, and the central location was excellent for my first time in the Vancouver area. However, there were a couple of areas that detracted from the full experience: I did not receive the specific room type I had originally booked. While the assigned room was comfortable, getting the room I reserved would have been preferred. Also, I was disappointed that I was unable to access the pool area and other amenity spaces during my stay. I understand it appeared to be a very busy weekend, but greater clarity or access to these key facilities would have significantly improved my visit. I would still recommend the hotel for its service and location, but prospective guests should be aware of potential room changes and amenity availability during peak times.

This hotel was in the perfect spot walkable to just about everything restaurants very close by. The bar was fully stocked with TVs all tuned into every sports game. The staff are exceptional in every aspect. It felt safe at all times! Starbucks in the lobby, Tim Hortons, right across the driveway entrance. Very convenient for Ubers and taxis.. loved this place

Extremely nice staff. Clean, spacious room. Nice view. Bathroom has a tub, if a small one. Great water pressure in the shower. HVAC was a bit weird with the temp in the room occasionally changing from where the thermostat was set. Bed was fairly comfy but sagged a bit in places. No complimentary water in the room, but Van tap water is pretty good. Biggest disappointment was that we woke up to a fire drill alarm we hadn't been told about one morning. Might have been nice to have been offered a free pot of coffee or something for not getting 8 hours of sleep.
