"Right opposite Dentetsu station which was perfect to get to after we did Alpen-route from Oginawa direction. Stayed 3 nights used hotel as a base for that plus to go to Kanazawa (20 mins by train), & Fukui (45 mins by train) to Dinosaur museum & also look around Toyama itself rather than drag our bags from hotel to hotel in those places plan worked perfectly. Hotel room good as was included breakfast. "

"Lovely attentive staff, delightful traditional Japanese rooms. Great views and Onsen, close to the bus for Alpine route, though not much else nearby in terms of shops or eating. We would happily return. Only improvement point suggested is that we could not contact the hotel in advance by email, web form or expedia to find out if dinner was available - we got no reply. The answer is that they can do dinner if you order it that morning. For us this was an unusual wide ranging Japanese meal for I think Y5000 each, meeting our vegetarian needs (sometimes difficult in Japan!). "

"Hallways smelt poorly, carpets are stained throughout the facility. We got the 4 person japanese room (only 2 in the room) and it was adeqaute for us. Outdoor tub included with room can only hold two people, food included with half board was buffet style and wasn't very good, however had a decent selection of western, japanese and chinese cuisines."
