Disappointing..
We had once stayed at The Stamford about 5 years ago to break up a road trip. We were impressed by its “old school” charm, friendly staff and close proximity to town. This time… not so much. It’s in dire need of an upgrade, cleanliness was lacking and staff were not overly helpful. Disappointing but it served it’s purpose for one night.

The hotel is very outdated and not clean at all. We had dirty towels with stains on them. Our bed sheets also had stains on them. We asked to be moved to another room just to experience the same things again. For the price you pay this hotel is absolutely not worth it. Also, the smells in the hotel aren’t pleasant either. Overall, a horrible stay & it was not worth the money.

I am a return customer. I've stayed at The Stamford 5 times in the last few years. It is a great hotel, the rooms are clean and the customer service is amazing. Everyone from the front desk, house keeping, the Manager and Mo (the bartender ) are wonderful! Everyone is so friendly and helpful. This is the only place I will stay when I go to Stamford Ct.
