I had high hopes for this hotel, but unfortunately, my stay fell well short of expectations and significantly impacted my trip. The hotel staff did attempt to address some issues by offering a room upgrade when we encountered problems with disruptive guests nearby, which I appreciated as a gesture of goodwill. The room itself was not in the condition I expected for the price point. The television wasn’t functioning properly upon arrival, and it took intervention from the IT team to discover that the WiFi wasn’t connected to either TV in the room - a basic amenity that should have been verified before guest arrival. During my stay, we experienced two separate power outages - one at 1:30 AM and another at 7:00 PM. While power issues can sometimes be beyond a hotel’s control, the frequency was disruptive to our schedule and comfort. There was active construction taking place during our stay, which created noise and disturbance. Unfortunately, no alternative accommodations or compensation were offered to mitigate this inconvenience. Perhaps most disappointingly, several service requests went unaddressed despite multiple attempts to follow up with staff. This lack of responsiveness made it difficult to resolve the various issues we encountered. While I understand that hotels can face unexpected challenges, the combination of technical problems, infrastructure issues, construction disruption, and poor follow-up service created a stay that didn’t meet basic hospitality standards.
