"We stayed at Keepers Cottage for 6 days in early October. The cottage, although very compact, has everything you need, and more. The hosts have really thought of everything when it comes to facilities for your dogs. The secure exercise field was an absolute favourite with Nougat and Sully, our two bull terriers, they were just so excited to go in there each morning, and last thing each day. Its also great having a safe enclosed area outside the front of the cottage for them to do their business. The day kennels, although we didnt use them, are an added bonus. The cottage is situated in a great location, so many dog friendly places to visit, all around 30 minutes drive, some of the roads going out of the property are very narrow but asits Cornwall,its kind of what you expect. We visited a few beaches, the Eden project, and the lost gardens of Heligan and Lanhydrock House and Gardens, all of which are dog friendly and we would highly recommend. Caroline left us a nice bottle of red and some scones,on our arrival, which was a nice surprise and greatfully received. We will definitely be back as this has been a wonderful break for both us and our dogs. "

"If you need a cozy, out of the way retreat, this fits the bill nicely. For those not used to rural Cornwall roads, expect some stretches of single lane, NARROW road between hedges. Take it easy and enjoy the adventure! Kim and Tony are excellent hosts and will make every effort to make your stay comfortable. Kim’s breakfasts are great, and she does her best to adjust to guest preferences or needs."

"I booked as was working nearby and liked the look of the place and price was really good Room cosy clean and comfortable Good shower and loads of snacks and drinks such as our orange hot chocolate coffee and tea selection Only downside the kitchen wasn’t open so recommended a local pub "

"We arrived after more than a ten hour journey to find the property had not been prepared or cleaned, we immediately contacted the owner who apologised and asked us to go to the bar to have a drink promising to pick up the tab. After an hour and half we were informed the property had been prepared, returning to the property we found it had been cleaned but to a poor standard. The property is described as being luxury, I would describe it as being tired and in need of some tender loving care. However, the most disappointing thing has been the total silence from Amy Tucker the owner, despite numerous emails and text messages she hasn't had the courtesy of replying - a total lack of customer service - spend your money somewhere else and AVOID QUEENSWOOD HOLIDAYS.. "

"The property itself was beautiful, with lots of space. However, The furniture was outdated and the cleanliness was not upto the mark. Unfortunately we had an incident with the electricity tripping and although we put all the dishes in the dishwasher before leaving, we could not turn the dishwasher on. The owners were very easy to reach. There are positives but overall, some improvements needed."
