"Good old pub. Family room large, and nice that it was provided with pods / machine for coffee and hot chocolate, and a kettle for the tea. Extra orange and apple juice, as well as milk in a fridge in the hallway. Local drinks available and we later sat by the fire. We had eaten earlier in the day so did not try and evening meal, but they were booked out Bed was firm and comfy, and we slept well. Cooked full "Miner's" breakfast in the morning, with mostly local produce was great. Other foods available but we were full. We would stay again. "

"We just had a 4 night stay but it was a very pleasant experience. The Coach House is well laid out, especially for two sets of families. The beds are comfortable and the whole property is clean. It is ideally situated for walking locally and for visiting the sights."

"Except it’s more spacious than shows on photos! Host was very friendly and gave us a quick property tour. The Lounge is big, good kitchen, big dining table, all clean and as shown. There wasn’t a ‘welcome pack’, but no big deal. Lots of shops nearby. And a little cinema! Saturday night music was audible in the lounge - but pleasant not a problem! And no issue for sleeping upstairs. Good size bedrooms. Downstairs bathroom is big! Upstairs much smaller. I’ve not given top score on host communicating because of Vrbo, not any issues with the host. I think my daughter left a toy and I can’t message the host on the app now the stay is over! Luckily I can phone the coffee shop. "

"Perfect last minute find for a stopover visiting Forest of Dean - Puzzlewood just 4 mins in the car & Sculpture Park 7 mins. Free public car park was a short walk away, which was also where we found a lovely Italian restaurant 'Amici'. Very well organized breakfast menu list provided the night before so your table was all prepared and ready to go at your chosen time from 8am. My poached eggs were perfect! Check out is at 11am giving some time to quickly explore Coleford before leaving - with a kettle & drink sachets in the room, time for a tea before checking out. Staff we're very polite and helpful - I hope there's availability next time we come back to explore more of the Forest."
