Would not go back. Staff would find any excuse/find a way to make money off of the guests. Drinks are watered down, very careless staff the first day we arrived a waitress dropped glass cups and cut my sister when we told management they seemed not to care and basically laughed and ignored the situation. 0/10 I dont know how this hotel has 5 stars.

The food was not good and the 24 hour option was even worse in quality and taste. The food was not tasty, very bland and just not good. Not handicap friendly only one ramp available on one side of the hotel. Very disappointed in our stay. Minibar was supposed to be replenished but ours was never replenished at all and were there a whole week. Got beach beds and the server took hours to come back with beverages very disappointing since we paid extra to be in that area!

A lot of the staff didn’t speak English. Not accommodating to big groups. Traveled for my birthday - promised a cake and champagne for the room. Never came then acted like the request was never in. Restaurant closed one day so unable to try. Not able to reserve restaurants so must stand in line. Hot throughout the whole resort. A lot of bugs. Definitely kid friendly.

The beach is beautiful and swimmable. They have some palm trees for shade but you can always rent an umbrella for about $15 for the day. The adult pool was fun. The food was not my favorite but doable. We had no issues getting into the specialty restaurants and food was decent. The neon party at RIU Jalisco was so much fun.

This is our second time in this hotel. They have the best beach access. Food selection is great and restaurant area is very clean. However, I can't recommend it for service. It used to be better. Unless you tip, meaning you have to carry money everywhere, you get no service. You're literally ignored or shown that you're the least priority. Old, disgusting beach towels, that you can't switch up during the day. No service on the beach. A lot of random people in the beach area that it doesn't feel safe anymore. 10 boogie boards for the whole hotel filled with kids...ridiculous.

Fast food like dining, rude/sarcastic staff, left our luggage on the floor spilling onto a dead dragonfly being eaten by hundreds of ants. Cheaper and humbler hotels had better food, service and dining. Not worth spending so much money for average to below average experience.
