"This is a charming place to stay. Note that the building is old - built from redwoods and insulated with redwood sawdust - so you can hear everything. I slept with earplugs and over-ear headphones playing soft music and had an excellent night sleep - best of my trip. Somehow they have managed to have beds that are very soft, but it also didn’t mess up my back. It does take a moment to adjust to this property, the rooms are cozy (small), as is the bathroom and shower. I was traveling alone. If I were with another person I would book a bigger room. The staff is delightful, as is the lobby. Lots of books and games and places to sit and look at the river. Loved the music that was playing in the lobby in the evening. Not many dining options nearby, I drove into Cresent City for dinner and had a delightful meal at SeaQuake Brewery. "

"The front desk lady was nice and very helpful, I didn’t remember her name but she has a very long hair. Their breakfast was really nice "

"We enjoyed our stay here. It was close to the Redwood locations we wanted to visit. The kitchen was well stocked and beds were comfortable. FYI…the toilet paper holder was loose when we arrived in case you would to fix it. Thank you!"

"Unique. Clean. Beautiful. Good location for trails, adventure, and exploring The Redwood National Park. Make sure to pay attention to the floor plan and layout of the house, it worked fine for our family but could be difficult for some. Overall a great experience!"

"This was a great place with plenty of room and all the amenities we needed. We loved hanging out on the wrap around porch or in the family room with the fire place watching movies or playing games in the evening. It’s a great location for taking day trips to the Redwoods or many beaches. "
