The room's interior decor and hallways to it wwere very mod , it was clean and quiet. The only issue was a chrome soap dish that was not installled in a good place and it REALLY hurt if you banged into it--the shower water streamed very close to it so on my 2 night stay I hit it trying to shower twice. Being a designer myself I could see that it could b easily place on back shower wall if they would try to do so. Otherwise all amenities were great (accept only having Coffeemate powder was a bummer) The breakfast had some great hot and room temp items and staff was very kind. Starbucks is right there too.

I loved the Hotel Vance and all the people who work in the hotel. I am hoping we will stay there again sometime in the future. It was perfect distance to shops and Portland State!

The stay was wonderful overall. Thank you. We might have enjoyed it more if we had not found other people’s hair in the bathroom and a dirty shower. At the restaurant the wait person stared at us, did not really respond. Unusual. The food is terrible. It was a waste of money and we wish we had found another spot.

The Hotel Vance was a nice starting point for our adventures in and around Portland! The hotel is well maintained and the rooms are spacious with an artistic, industrial flare. Shout out to Andrew W. at the front desk for always taking time to answer all of our questions (parking, dining, places to visit)! He, and all the staff, were courteous and helpful. The Hotel Vance is located on Broadway which has lots to offer and is easily walkable, although we don’t recommend it late at night. Very nice hotel, we would stay again.

A well located property within walking distance of major tourist sites. The staff are friendly and accommodating. The rooms are spacious and have various necessary items within- hairdryer, iron. Fantastic artwork in the corridors and rooms. Only negative - housekeeping do not replace items when they throw them away (soap) and miss days cleaning. Also some wiring on electrical need to be serviced. Otherwise I would stay here again.

The facility is the worst of my experience of staying in hotel. The sink is too high and the faucet is low compare to the sink, so water splashes to the outside onto the floor. The shower booth has no cover; water flows outside the booth because it has no door. It covers only half the side of the booth. The worst is Wifi disconnecting frequently during my stay. I couldn't connect it at all during the last day.
