Nice base for a Fremantle stay
Great central location in Fremantle. Comfortable rooms with nice balcony area. Breakfast items a bit limited on the cold cuts side of things, and barista style coffee chargeable even if breakfast included (not expensive to buy, but felt a bit cheap). Mini bar in room with reasonable pricing and very good selection. Two pool areas that are great for lounging. Nice outside bar/terrace area. Overall, I’d stay here again for sure.

On arrival we we're told our room was upgraded with was very exciting. From a queen to a king with spa bath. Was super comfy staying here 2 nights. Was absolutely fantastic! And the pools are amazing too!

The condition of the hotel generally was in need of a good facelift. The paintwork and decor was tired and the beds not big enough for two adults. The patio are was dirty with bare floors, cracked plaster and brickwork. So very disappointing for the cost.

I like that it felt like a real hotel -with large readily accessible ground floor ammenites, bar restaurant etc. - and not just a block, full if rooms. Rooms were spacious with a Queen and single bed plus 2 comfy chairs, plus a desk, plus a rack for TWO suitcases (unheard of almost everywhere) plus a decent bathroom, plus a large balcony, with 3 chairs and side table. This is am old character Heritage hotel, but the rooms are NOT tired as some people claim, but nicely decorated. Best hotel of my 35 day trip by far and not the most expensive. With careful planning free parking can be had nearby, so no need for the 30 dollars a day hotel parking in nearby carpark. One minor gripe (a common one) needs better extractor fans in the bathroom.

We have stayed at this hotel many times over a number of years and unfortunately the standard of service and the condition of the hotel has reduced considerably. When we arrived the front desk greeting was particularly unfriendly and unwelcoming. Considerably overpriced and certainly not the usual Expedia VIP standard. Would not recommend.
