Check in was less than optimal as there was a delay from when check in details were sent to Expedia and then to me. So I didn’t receive actual instructions until two days after we actually were able to check in.
We arrived on a French national holiday and weren’t able to reach anyone at the Edgar Suites office and had to frantically send emails and contact Expedia through their virtual chat person (which by the way is less than ideal when you just want to speak to a person).
While our check in was scheduled for 3 pm we were finally able to reach someone by 1 pm, but as you can imagine was very stressful, given we were 4 ladies coming from overseas into a foreign country without any confirmation of details of where we were staying. There was no excuse for this either as I had called 3 days before asking to confirm details of our stay.
Either way Mae (the resident host) was amazing and was able to let us in early and was happy to serve us throughout the stay. Due to the mix up the company did provide us with a mid week cleaning, free of charge, to make up for the mix up.
The property was very clean and was close to grocery stores and a mall. However we did not realize it was beside a seniors residence so we had to be cautious of noise levels but it wasn’t inconvenient. Although it shares that it is in close proximity of several tourist sites it is not within walking distance. Overall a great stay if it wasn’t for the bumpy check in.
