Perfect two bedroom property for our family. Great location to Disney and other restaurants and shops. They should discontinue the $150 resort fee and let purchase of water park tickets be an option you choose to buy. I wasn’t impressed with the water park.

Everything was far away from my building . It would take me 10-15 min just to walk to restaurant for breakfast. I was with child ane i wish thet would keep ys in groove building. Hearing through rooms are terrible. I could hear my neighbor upstairs snoring.

We evacuated to this resort during the hurricane. We did not use any of the resort activities due to the weather. I was happy to find something as most places were sold out. The staff there took their time checking people in! The line was so long and they were in no rush. One staff member stood around talking to other staff for about 20 minutes before she started to assist. Also, parking was horrible and a very very long walk from your room back to the main areas where the food was. That part was difficult since we had small children.

The hotel is currently being used as a homeless shelter for storm victims. I’m glad they are helping the community but wish I had known prior. It wasn’t a relaxing vacation vibe happening here. People were washing their clothes in the lazy river. No security to be seen anywhere.

Great location and amenities, just make sure that if you are staying at the Terraces that you check in there rather than the main building. There is no sign telling you to register at the Terraces building and you’ll wait awhile to find out you have to drive further and register there rather than the main desk. That is literally my only issue. Everything else was awesome. Close to Disney and the water park is super fun.

I’ve stayed so many times and it has been amazing and this time we stayed in the terraces and no one to attend us people had to grab the phone from the front desk to call the grove next door.. I asked for bed sheets I was given wrong one no body wash I had to wait a day and a half for it … no paper towels no one to ask for towels or anything for the room my tv never worked and they said they didn’t have anyone to fix it until next day and no one never came to fix it

Great Option for Big Group
Overall our stay was great! The condo was comfortable and spacious! It was wonderful having a living room and full kitchen to make it feel like we were not in a hotel. The kitchen and bathroom supplies were lacking. We each received 1 set of bath towels. There were no kitchen towels. There was 1 dishwasher tablet but no dish washing soap/sponge. There were 2 beach towels for each of us which was nice! The pool and water park were fun and large. We were there during the week in the off season so there were plenty of chairs, etc but we heard it was much busier on the weekend. My biggest complaint was the hallways. They were rundown and it was confusing to get around at first. Better signage would be nice. The restaurants had limited menus which each having the same food but what we ordered was ok. The lobby store had a good selection of supplies/food. The shuttle to Disney only goes once per day which didn't fit our schedule. Overall it worked so good for our family vacation with multiple families! I would recommend it and go back in the future.

Bad customer service, not kind, not very helpful, charged for things they shouldnt have. Very very understaffed. Long line with only one person working front desk. Other workers do not offer to help. Housekeeping rules do not make sense, after multiple tries of speaking to the front desk, had to stop housekeepers in hallway myself for towels, trash removal and toilet paper. They only provide you with one toilet paper at a time and between the long lines and no housekeeping, it was difficult to get toilet paper when needed. Food super expensive, they have a market but everything is overpriced (usually how it is) The only good thing was the property is very beautiful and the water park being included.

I have mixed feelings about The Grove. I loved the property gardens - a lot of thought went into the landscaping, walking trails, nature etc which really adds to the overall aesthetic and vibe of the property. It was really lacking indoors. A lot of main areas (walls, floors, furniture etc) looked worse for wear (i.e. there was a hole in the wall by the 6th floor elevator where someone had kicked it, it looked like someone punched the closet door in one of the bedrooms in our unit, one of the lounge chairs at the pool was torn). I also feel like complimentary housekeeping should be done every 2-3 days. The pool towels are THIN and there's a crazy US$25 charge if you lose one (which is bonkers because you can buy a brand new beach towel at Walmart of $7 or less).

Let me start by saying that I have previously enjoyed my stay at the Grove Water Resort, but this recent experience was quite different. Upon arrival, I discovered that I would be staying at the Terraces, the new resort, due to my original room being sold out. I accepted this change as we headed to the new location. We checked into room 4120, and as soon as we opened the door, a foul smell hit us. When my daughter opened the bathroom door, we were appalled to find that someone had urinated on the floor and toilet. I promptly reported this to the front desk, and we were given a different room. Unfortunately, although the new room was somewhat acceptable, it was not clean, as there was hair all over the linens. I requested new sheets, but it took over six hours to receive them, despite my walking to the front desk three times. Those sheets had hair on them as well. The customer service was terrible, and it seemed they were unprepared for the high volume of guests. The poolside bar closed early, the resort felt overcrowded, and they only offered one shuttle from the Terraces to the Grove, which was overwhelmed by the demand from waterpark visitors. Overall, I regret my decision to stay here and wish I had chosen the Endless Resort at Universal instead. I’m planning to visit Orlando again this summer, but the Grove/Terraces Resort will not be on my list. 👎

I stayed in a 3BR suite and there was stains in the bed in more than 1 room , the tv did not work , the room smelled old . Room service only came around 1 out of four days a pick up trash .
