I think this hotel feels a bit newer than many such budget places in Chelsea and lower midtown. I think this hotel is fine. The only issue is the HVAC system: it would turn on every 5-10 minutes at night and the first few seconds during the startup are pretty noisy so I kept waking up all night. I ended up buying some earplugs at a nearby drugstore which helped a lot

The staff is amazing and everyone at the front desk is nice but the rooms are starting to show thier age and the smaller rooms are small even for nyc. The price for a king to have the sink in the hall is lame. There’s just hooks on the wall no dresssors. Barely room to put two bags. There’s not even a real desk. It’s a shame. The handle in the shower fell off every time and hooks were missing on the wall.
