Cheap flights from Dallas to Spokane

Dallas/Ft Worth International (DFW) is located 20 miles away from Dallas, Texas and reachable using the TX-183 W or I-30 W. There are several flights each day to Spokane International (GEG) but no direct flights. Flight times are usually just over five hours long. The city of Spokane, Washington is seven miles away from the airport via W Airport Dr. Taxis are available outside of the terminals. Also, the STA 60 bus brings people from the airport to Downtown Spokane.

Attractions and tips

Within a short drive of the city center, there are more than 33 golf courses, including the award-winning Indian Canyon. The Riverfront Park hosted the 1974 World's Fair. Many of the Pavilions are still standing and the park is excellently maintained. Manito Park is also a popular park to visit due to its free Japanese Gardens. Saunders Cheese Market in the central part of Downtown sells cheeses from all over the country and the world. They also have a fine selection of wine to compliment the cheese.

Spokane has a humid continental climate. Summer is long, hot and dry. Winter is cold and wet. In between, spring and fall are short and pleasant. The city is very safe. Most visitors stay in the accommodations of Downtown Spokane because of its proximity to many shopping centers and restaurants.
