Location, Location, Location!
Location, location, location!! This surprisingly quiet hotel is a block from the French Quarter. It was nice not to need a car, as a lot was walkable. The room was clean and efficient. The bed was very comfortable and the shower most welcome after a long flight. Jodi at the front desk certainly stood out as a great team member! Why not 5 stars? The day after we checked out, I realized I'd left my jacket in the closet. My husband called the Lost and Found with no luck. I went back to the hotel after we returned from our cruise and they said no jacket was found. Someone in their housekeeping staff is ethically challenged and helped themselves to my jacket. It's my own fault for forgetting it, but I didn't think someone would take my new jacket... Otherwise, it's a very nice place to stay!!

Overall I loved the hotel very cozy comfortable friendly walking distance to downtown no main issues at all .. my only thing was that some of the towels & wash clothes were stained but other then that great hotel .. I will be back to book here my next visit in New Orleans thank you for a great stay .

I've stayed here a couple times before, but this time didn't measure up to my previous stays. The safe to the room wasn't working and after requesting service, it was never fixed. My toilet wasn't flushing at first and maintenance came to fix it. It was better but still slow flushing. My tv channels did not work at all during my entire stay

My stay at Aloft New Orleans was incredibly disappointing, despite the front desk staff being pleasant and welcoming during check-in and check-out. Their professionalism, however, could not make up for the shocking state of the room. The bed was a nightmare: hair—clearly not ours—was found under the sheets and on top of the mattress. To make matters worse, the mattress itself had disturbing brown stains, leaving me disgusted and questioning the hotel’s commitment to cleanliness. For a Marriott property, this is completely unacceptable. While I appreciated the friendliness of the staff, it doesn’t excuse the unsanitary conditions and lack of attention to detail. I expected far more from this hotel and left feeling dissatisfied and uncomfortable. Until serious improvements are made, I cannot recommend staying here.

My brother and i stayed at this hotel. I had stayed at Aloft Tampa a few years ago so i had high expectations. New Orleans Aloft was cool. 4.5 out 5. Pool table available, Bar downstairs and overall Solid choice.

It’ll be great once they fix the alarm problems.
The hotel was clean and in a great location. Staff were friendly when checking in/out and when we had questions about things to do/which direction to take. Why two stars? That’s because on our first night at approximately 11:30pm the alarm starts blaring. It’s supposed to, I get it. We get ourselves together and start heading for the stairs. Then the alarm stops and an announcement plays that there is no emergency and to disregard the alarm. Ok, back up the stairs to the room. Now repeat this for the next 30 minutes. It was so stressful and confusing and I can’t imagine how intense it was for the families with kids that had to go through this. There was zero communication from the front desk about this during, immediately after, or even in the morning. When I asked staff what happened, no one knew but said there were technicians on site. The second night was quiet but the alarm problems returned during the evening of day three. I’m disappointed that there was zero communication from the hotel about this when it happened nor has there been any effort to reach out at all. An actual emergency would be different, this wasn’t.

Initially, we had a problem gaining access to the room. Upon entry, the phone was missing buttons, the TV didn't work and the toilet wouldn't flush. We were relocated to a different room and everything was fine.
