Beautiful property and wide range of dining options and activities available. The variety and quality of the dining experiences, along with the numerous activities, made my stay enjoyable. The rooms were another highlight - spacious, clean, and comfortable. I used the fitness centre during my stay, and while it was adequate, I felt it could benefit from being larger and having more equipment. It was fine when not too many people were using it, but it felt cramped during busier periods. I have a suggestion regarding the lounge chairs by the pool. I noticed many chairs were left reserved for extended periods without anyone using them. Implementing a policy allowing people 30 minutes to return to their lounge chairs would be beneficial. This way, more guests could enjoy the pool area, and chairs wouldn't remain empty for long periods.

Staff gave another guest access to my room. This is the second time this has happened at this property. Once at Rosewood and now at SLS. To me this is an inexcusable mistake and it has happened twice in two stays! I have never had this happen to me at any other hotel. The violation of privacy and safety as you are changing and a random person uses a passkey and opens your door is next level and unacceptable at a 2 star motel yet happens here.

Deniro by the pool was a great member. He checked in on us, remembered our names and was extremely pleasant and professional. I found the rest of the service by the SLS pool sub par. Not enough servers around at all and you’d have to go up and order it yourself if you wanted something quickly. The hotel was nice but bathrooms are tiny. No turn down service during this stay which i found disappointing. We’ve been here several times and usually have turndown service. We had one issue where we asked for a late checkout since we had a late flight. We were given an hour and a half extension. Our friends were given an hour which was great. We both asked about complimentary amenities to use after checkout since we had a late night, I specifically asked are there showers or a room that could be used and we were both told (on separate calls) that we are able to use the spa. Then when we checked out, again we were notified we can store our luggage then make our way to the spa afterwards. We did that and when we arrived at the spa, we were told it’s a $55 USD charge per person! Thankfully the spa team was able to allow us to use the services given the clear misdirection. However, we have been to many, many hotels and never have we been charged to use the facilities after check out. In other resorts we are offered a separate room, the spa, many many options. It’s unfortunate that Bahamar feels the need to continuously add charges in addition to the already expensive costs.

Very average experience with the SLS - and non-stop calls to guest services to have issues sorted. Given the daily cost, you should get a far better experience and service, which was inconsistent at best. TV didn’t work and that took 24 hours to resolve, after 3 calls to front desk, eventually being replaced. Only one robe in room, had to call for another. No hairdryer, no iron… some of the things you’d just expect as standard, so you end up calling front desk for everything then hanging around waiting for it to come to room - and that time could vary hugely as well. Would not stay here again, even at half the price it would struggle to meet expectations. Raised the numerous disappointments with front desk when checking out - all smiles and insincere apologies. There are better options in Nassau for sure. Simply not worth the high price tag.

Need larger coffee cups in rm for coffee maker, not just espresso cups. Next time I need smallest room or suite with 2 bathrooms.......apples & fruit in room, bigger fridge or separate mini fridge other than mini bar fridge, better quality toilet tissue
