We just got back from our vacation here. While our vacation was not ruined, I would not go back to this resort. The food was not great at all. I’ve had better food at different Jamaican resorts. The staff’s pleasantness was extremely hit or miss. We had some great servers at the steakhouse, the Jamaican restaurant, the Asian restaurant, and the pool bar, but other bartenders and servers were unpleasant. Our mini fridge never got restocked. I called for housekeeping to bring us some stuff and they never showed up. A couple we were with went without AC for over 30 hours before the hotel decided to do anything. Only after several complaints did the hotel finally move their room. Everyone got steadily harassed about booking the spa. The pool was amazing, and we spent a lot of our time there. The drinks were good. The activities the hotel had and shows they put on were entertaining. A lot of inconveniences, not just for us, but for everyone out of our group of ten. I love Jamaica, but there are much better places to stay.

I recently stayed at this resort and overall, the staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming — they truly made us feel comfortable during our stay. However, there were several areas that could use improvement to make the experience more enjoyable for families and adults alike. Coming from the U.S., I was surprised by the number of strict rules, especially regarding activities for children. For example, the video game area required kids to be at least 13 years old to play without a parent. My son is 11 and already very familiar with these types of games, so that rule felt unnecessarily restrictive. The pool and beach closing at 6:30 p.m. also limited the fun, especially since most guests are on vacation and want to enjoy the evening hours. After those amenities closed, there weren’t many other engaging options available, so we often ended up staying in our room — which wasn’t ideal for a resort experience. The buffet food was great for the first few days, but later in the week it seemed less fresh — some items looked dried out and even the bread was hard. On the other hand, the restaurant menus were much better and offered delicious options. The resort did provide evening shows, which were entertaining, but not everyone is interested in watching dance performances every night. It would be nice to see more variety and interactive entertainment, such as family-friendly competitions, board games, or card game nights — especially useful during rainy weather or when outdoor stuff

The property is outdated and could use a little more modern updates. Our air went out two of the days we were there. Though several buildings were down they worked diligently to get it fixed. The air was damp and it smelled like mildew. The staff was very polite and accommodating. There were a some roaches as well as a lot of cats.

I visited in August for my birthday. I tried to make arrangements in advance to lock in so i wouldn't have to not have the experiences i wanted to celebrate my birthday. I communicated through the app for bookings. Confirmed join arrival. The day of my birthday nothing went according to my plan. Bookings all of a sudden were no longer confirmed. My birthday was ruined and no attempt at making it right the day of. I had to have my experiences the next day. Very disappointing to say the least. I've visited this resort several times but this time was the worst. I won't be booking this resort any longer. Nice for first time trippers but once you're used to certain luxuries this resort misses the mark.

Beware don't stay here this place will rob you we stayed 6days and it was pure hell first day. The lock was not working. We was stuck outside for hours sweating finally they came and fixed the lock. Then the next day the AC went out we were sweat and sweat and sweat until we went up to the front desk and got help now we're leaving. Someone went in our room robbed us for a $400 each beats headphones. I had them clipped on to my traveling bag and it was me and my fiancé. We look to see if we had them there we had two and they robbed us. They took our neck pillows to travel. We called the front desk. They said they will call security. We never seen security the next morning. We had to check out. We told them that we was very disappointed that the security number arrived. They call security right then and there and they knew we had to leave 10 minutes or shadow was coming to pick us up to take us to the airport they came and they told me why didn't I lock my headphones in the safe and I told them why should I do that? I travel all over and never in my life had this problem don't stay there they open your safe. It's not safe. They know the combination that you're putting in them safe read your reviews before you book. Don't book in that resort. Food is horrible. People are rude. They don't care about you. I'm so disappointed, but this doesn't stop for me because I am gonna take this higher. Nobody steals for me and get away with it.
