The resort is beautiful but we are disappointed in the upkeep of it. Had to ask several times for our outdoor pool to be cleaned (even though we were told it’s to be done daily). Upon check in, it was already dirty. After telling to concierge, an employee came to the room to look it and asked with an attitude “what’s wrong with it”. We felt uncomfortable after that interaction even to ask for anything else. The whirlpool tub wasn’t clean daily, there was sand on the bottom of it for days (we barely used it). The outside balcony was dirty, floor has things all over it… clearly no one paid attention took to it. Another disappointing thing was room cleaning. We were staying in the excellence club portion and our rooms were being cleaned after 4pm (right when we are coming back to the room to get ready for dinner). Over all the resort property is nice. Some of the staff is very personable and goes out of their way to welcome you while others don’t want to be bothered at all (or to be there themselves). The food was nothing special. Typical resort style. Entertainment at night was alright, nothing exciting We liked the property but probably would not come back again because the cleanliness was not of a 4 or 5 star hotel level.

We had a wonderful time at the Excellence Resort - Oyster Bay. The only complaint we had was the service on the beach wasn't that great. They only came around twice the most and some days just once to ask if we needed anything. We were there in 2019 and didn't pay for the Excellence Club and had awesome service on the beach near the main pool area than we did this time at the beach area for the Excellence Club members. Some of the popular drinks we asked for the bar tenders didn't even know how to make. Other than that we had a wonderful stay.

Even though the property was beautiful, there wasn’t much activities to do there. It’s more on the boring side, if you’re looking for entertainment, this would not be the place to go.

I love the excellence resort chain as a whole. This location, Jamaica, is perfect for adults only. You have areas if you want a party vibe or tranquil vibe. Luxury and budget friendly. The staff were wonderful and the service was great. I will definitely visit this resort again!

We recently stayed at this hotel and had an overall great experience. The property and rooms are absolutely beautiful and impeccably clean, making for a very comfortable and relaxing stay. The staff was incredibly friendly and welcoming. The breakfast buffet was fantastic. However, the food at the other restaurants on the property could be improved, and the service was a bit slow at times. Despite this, we still enjoyed our trip and felt well taken care of. We would recommend this hotel for anyone looking for a peaceful and beautiful place to stay

My husband and I visited Excellence oyster bay for our honeymoon and it was honestly so beautiful and relaxing! Everyone was super friendly and welcoming! The bartenders at the martini bar were also amazing especially Oswald & Eric! The entertainment staff was funny. Shampoo, CeeCee , CJ kept it entertaining! Will definitely be coming back! We enjoyed the cigar rolling class too!!
