Lots of hidden fees. Parking two blocks away. They charge you $45 for old rusty beach chairs that aren’t usable. Staff so loud and slamming doors all night long. The worst stay ever.

Avalon was a lovely place to stay. Right in the centre of all the atmosphere of South Beach but in a slightly quieter area. The staff were all so helpful. Our room was lovely and clean. We opted for a sea view room and this was perfect. We would definitely stay here again

Hôtel really well located and the staff is friendly. The beach right in front of the Hôtel is perfect. A lot of good restaurants nearby so you don't have to take any transportation.

Charming hotel. Room was adequate. Small but Clean. Bed was very comfortable! Elevator was not working which was an issue when my wife slipped on wet floor when coming in the side door and was bloodied and limping badly from that for the extent of the visit. (Hose dripping right outside the door and being tracked in.) Other than that, great place to stay. Restaurant is amazing as is the bar.

The staff were very nice, the breakfast was good, and room was very quiet. I loved the location! It was a great place to stay before my cruise. However, I have to be honest about the bathroom, it's dated, but that could just be the style they want, but the upper vent in the bathroom was taped off. It didn't hurt my trip but if that's something that concerns you then it's something to know. I wish I had paid extra for an Oceanview room, my room had a view of an alley. It was the Classic King Room.

Everything is great! However, the sounds isolation is not good. We can hear people talking from the street from 2ed flow. Not good choice for traveling with kids.
