As a couple in Melbourne for 5 days this was perfect for us. Central to everything we needed and more we didn’t know we needed. The bed was amazing I haven’t slept so well in ages. Highly recommend this hotel

Excellent self contained rooms for city stay.
The view from our room on the 28th floor was spectacular. Rooms were clean, bed comfy, and facilities all in good working order. Was great to see bathroom products in refillable dispensers. Continental buffet breakfast was generous and view to the gardens pretty The staff went out of their way to provide extra assistance. We will definitely be back.

I was very disappointed to find that my mattress was very soiled and yellow, there was not mattress protector. I notified the reception at 11.30pm and they were kind enough to upgrade me into a better suite. Unfortunately the shock of the mattress did impact my overall experience. Moving rooms wasn't what I liked on my first night, exhausted etc. The location I could not fault, it was walking distance, 1 min to trams, 10 minutes from major shopping outlet etc. Very good location. I didn't find the hotel very special in any way, it was just very plain. The breakfast was only things like cereal, sliced bread, some fruit, some juice, tea & coffee. Bacon and eggs, cuppaccino was optional at a price. So the breakfast did not appeal to me. I wouldn't choose this hotel again, it wasn't my cup of tea

Carpet in hallway next to lifts to hotel rooms have too thick carpet. I had to drag my luggage bag. Shower tap in wrong position - water suddenly change to cold when u bump it on back wall. Air conditioning box in balcony dirty, not cleaned. Glasses have been washed again by me because I can see lip markings on glasses. It wasn’t properly cleaned by cleaners. Hope it’s isolated issue.

The property was a great location for the part of town that we wanted! We were there for 9 days & the apartment was lovely with a view across the Flagstaff Gardens. As it was supposed to be fully self contained we requested cooking utensils & a sharp knife which were promptly supplied. A couple of minor irritations:- the WiFi was temperamental….. the lifts were not always the most reliable. It would have been great to have another easy chair or a small sofa to make the room more comfortable

We loved the Jazz Corner, except for the elevator, which was not working properly. Good free continental breakfast, close to the famous market, and washer and dryer in the room. Staff were so accommodating and friendly and, unexpectedly were on duty 24 hours. Also, we did not get the 2 double beds we had requested.

Oct. 2024. We stayed 4 nights. The property feels like a condo project that didn't work out. The rooms all have washer/dryers and kitchens with gas oven/cooktop. Seem to have been built to sell not rent. Room was reasonably sized, like a studio apt. would be. We were on the 32nd floor, with a nice balcony view over Melbourne. Although the rooms have kitchens, there are NO pots/pans/cooking utensils. Very basic eating utensils plus plates and cups etc. Weird.Not sure how you use the stove without pots. We called down and asked for a small pot and a salad bowl. We received the bowl. Good location..a few minute walk to Queen Vic market. 15-20 min. walk to the water. It is just inside the free tram zone so you can ride the trams for free towards the tourist area (and back).
