Review based on a family of 4 with 2 children.
On arrival staff were pleasant, happy to hold our bags.
We had a 2 bedroom premium apartment. Size wise it’s excellent, has everything you need.
However, the two doors that connect the rooms to the lounge have big panels of glass in them, which meant that when the kids were asleep we either had to sit in the lounge in the dark or go to bed. This was not ideal as we specifically booked this so that we could work in the evenings.
We asked for a cot (which was confirmed finally after 5 emails and a call later), this had been dumped in our room and we were left trying to figure out how to get it up. The cost for this was $20 per night. Which is fine, but interesting that in all our time traveling with kids we’ve never once been charged for a porta cot and it’s been beautifully set up for us.
The apartment was incredibly dusty, the vents for the air conditioning were so filthy and just kept blowing out dust continuously. Hubby had a closer look and they were missing the filters to actually catch the dust.
Decor wise the room is ok, slightly dated, but that wasn’t an issue for us.
The buffet breakfast included was incredible!!! We couldn't believe the selection. 10/10
We desperately needed help sorting transport to the airport. We asked reception, said they couldn’t help and to get a cab. Asked about child seats and they shrugged and said don’t know.
An okay stay overall, but unlikely we’ll but back.
