Tired & Unclean

Room was tired & in desperate need of a refurb. I had no towels & had to call reception to get some after hours. The bed looked like someone had slept in it & then made it again. The toilet looked like someone had used it & not flushed properly. Shower/tub floor had grey scum on the bottom that you get from not cleaning it regularly. Honestly - I thought the room they gave me was someone else’s & it was given to me by mistake. Staff were lovely, couldn’t fault them. But the room was definitely subpar & unclean

To some extent you get what you pay for but so much more could have been done to make this place cleaner and more comfortable. Very dirty property in general (hallways, windows etc) and rooms ok but aging with broken/not working facilities and in general run down.

Staff were friendly, room was clean. One power point was hanging out of the wall with wires exposed. Room could do with a freshen up, paint, general dings, wear and tear fixed. Was a little noisy and car park was a bit difficult to navigate at times. Unfortunately the coffee shop/restaurant was closed.

The location was fantastic ! The property however is very tired , less than basic , no face washers the room not at all inviting down the alley there was a dog howling and at 4.00am I lady screaming swearing woke me up I didn’t particularly feel safe as there was no phone in the room for reception as it wasn’t manned at night , those who worked there during the day were friendly enough but overall I would not stay there again or recommend to anyone
