This was the worst all inclusive hotel I’ve ever stayed at. There is no room service. There is no pool waiter service. The staff is very rude and unfriendly. There is garbage left all over the property for days around the pools and restaurants. The room felt like a prison cell and the A/C didn’t work. When I asked the front desk to help with the air, they had no answers for me and wouldn’t help. There were very limited dining options and the food was disgusting. I felt VERY unsafe at this hotel! At checkout, they used the scissor to cut off my friend’s band and cut right through her skin. . and didn’t even care! DO NOT RECOMMEND!

Pool was being repair so only one adult pool was available. Staff not very friendly from the front desk to the dinning buffet. Rooms are really nice. Room includes 4 bottles of alcohol and mini fridge that is shocked. Beautiful island

Location was adjacent to Maho Beach. Staff were very helpful and friendly. Our kids really enjoyed the stay. Only downside was the main pool was under repair, but we made the best of it and saw other parts of the island.

I was thoroughly disappointed. The rooms smelled of mold/mildew. We switched rooms twice and the smell annd cleanliness of the second room still weren’t good. After my second complaint they wouldn’t answer my calls. They told me they would call my room back when one was ready and never did. Also, the site was under construction (the major pool). We weren’t made aware of the construction until we arrived and were give a letter saying we could use the neighboring properties pool. They neglected to give us their rules. We used it and were told we couldn’t use their chairs,nor drink beverages pool side. It was a. Eye sore and it made us walk further around the property. I feel like I wasted my money, and ruined my birthday trip.

I encountered some unexpected challenges during my recent stay. There was construction underway that wasn't mentioned on the website before I made the booking, and the main pool was out of order. Additionally, my room wasn't available at the expected time. When I expressed my concerns, I was initially assigned a room with mold in the bathroom. After bringing this to their attention, I was moved to another room, but it was missing furniture and had a view of the construction site (pool area). Drinks were good the food not so much despite it being all inclusive I opted for dinner off the resort. We were visiting in celebration of my son’s birthday and this just wasn’t what I had in mind.

I liked my stay at Sonesta Maho.The room was very clean. I only ate breakfast at the resort due to me eating local food for lunch and dinner but for the most part the breakfast was decent. Unfortunately when we arrived the pool was closed and they were repairing it due to a major leak and crack. That was a big bummer. We did get to use the pool at their sister resort which is walking distance. The biggest thing I didn’t like was the liquor! It was cheap and literally made my fiancé sick. No top notch liquor so I end up having to get a bottle.

The resort would have been a lot better if the main pool had been open. The frustrating part was that we booked the trip back in June and was never told that the pool wouldn’t be open. They had a smaller pool which wasn’t big enough to accommodate everyone with a chair and it was a lot busier. Would have been nice to be told ahead of time that the pool was under construction.

Nice property but they didnt say anywhere when i booked that the main pool was closed. They said they did but cant find it in add. This pool is a large part off attraction to property.
