The room smelt like mold, bar wasn't restocked, extremely high temperature for shower water, the tv didn't work half of the time. I made a complaint to the front desk but its like the tried to cover the mold smell with perfume scents instead of actual switching our room and doing a deep clean.

The rooms were in good condition. They were clean and they were modern. I believe every room pretty much has a balcony. I do feel that there could be some improvements. I feel that bar staff needs help. For example, there was one bar at the palms/ cantina restaurant who had to make drinks for the restaurant but also was servicing people from the pool and Beach who are coming over. He tried his best to keep up but it was pretty hard and some guests were giving him a hard time. We were having lunch at the restaurant and honestly we finished our food before we even got our drink. Probably because he had to keep stopping to deal with the customers coming from the pool. Overall the food could be better. The La Fontana restaurant had probably the best food we had during our stay. I don't feel that because of your wristband you should be treated differently. Well I do understand people are paying to be and the adults only side. We were sitting at the buffet and there was a particular drink that my husband ordered but because he was getting it from the bar from that hotel I guess he said he could not give it to my husband. There is no real Beach. It's more like a man-made one that the hotel created. You can access the actual Beach which is public.

My stay went well because of the company, but honestly, the hotel left a lot to be desired. It was not explained that despite being an all-inclusive resort, different rooms have access to different amenities (i.e. in-room minibar, room service). It wouldve been nice if that was clear when I booked, as I could've made an informed decision. Also, my bathoom door was broken and it took 5 requests over 2.5 days for them to fix it. The cleaning staff also left a lot to be desired as well, as towels and cloths were not replaced, just the beds remade. The food however, was good. The staff that I encountered was always courteous, with the exception of the one older gentleman at the front desk.

Very good hotel, excellent service, very nice, different restaurants, excellent food. Angela at the front desk was excellent; she took great care of us. The staff who served us in the restaurants were very kind and friendly, especially Nicole from the Dominican Republic. The only thing I didn't like was that the security guard at the Ocean Point resort was very rude to us when we wanted to take a picture in the lobby. They should be more professional and friendly because one understands that you can't enter that area if you're at the other resort, but we only wanted to see the lobby to see if we would stay there next time. She was very rude in telling us we couldn't enter and not even take a picture. This is a very negative point for tourists like us who are spending a lot of money and shouldn't be discriminated against like that security guard did to us.

Property was clean, nice and well kept. Staff were nice and accommodating. Only had one night where we waiting 1hr for our food to come out, that was our only issue during our stay.
