Service level and attitude of reception staff are generally good. It would be nice to have an operating drinking water fountain that is outside the restaurant on level 2."

"Loved everything about this hotel. Yes, the rooms are tiny, but they are also efficiently designed. The design elements of the hotel are next level, with highly enjoyable public spaces. We enjoyed cocktails at the rooftop bar, which offers amazing views and relatively reasonable prices. We loved exploring all of the adjacent areas. It’s lively and diverse, but never did it feel sketchy or dangerous. "

"The DoubleTree in lower Manhattan was absolutely the best destination for our New York Vacation. Our room was modern and rent clean, comfortable bed with a window view. The hotel amenities are a big plus, thank you. The biggest plus for my wife and I was the Staff! Everyone was really helpful, friendly and courteous. Check-in experience was a delight specially after a delayed and rough flight. The check-in agent was very empathetic and courteous! Also, because it was such Late check-in, I called in advance to let the hotel know we'll barely make our reservation deadline. Thank you for everything DoubleTree."
