" BEWARE!!!!! This is a scam. This property was closed down 4 years ago after the owner died. When we arrived to check in the father of the deceased informed us of this and said he doesn’t understand why people keep showing up when he filed all the required paperwork with the government to close the business. I opened a complain with Expedia and asked that we are refunded since we needed to get a different place to stay, to which they refused because according to them it was not approved by the property manager. No further investigation was done. Very disappointing! DON’T FALL FOR THIS SCAM!!!!!!! "

"Met with kindness and hospitality in this lovely well-located home. The owner went out of his way to book a taxi for me and arrange the 4:30 am pick up and price for an early bus departur. And then also woke up at that time to ensure my safety and see me on my way. “You are my guest,” he told me and certainly treated me that way. Highly recommended! "

"The location is ideal, being right in the main square. The guesthouse looks interesting inside, with tall ceilings like a European palace, being almost one of the best parts of visiting this city. The owner is also very friendly and helped me with everything I asked, including the very late check in. I wish that the wifi was included in the price - it does offer the ability to connect to the network, but you need to have your own wifi prepaid card and while those are cheap, they are not easy to get. But overall, it was one of the best guesthouses I stayed in Cuba during my 2 week trip."
