"Wow! What a bargain on this unique property! We wanted a safe, clean, quiet and affordable room for a two night stay...and that is exactly what we got. Not only that, but the property was once owned by American composer and songwriter, Burt Bacharach. Actual photos, music awards and memorabilia of the composer line the hallway walls making it a kind of small museum, so you get that too. Our room was spacious and the bathroom bigger than I expected. The overall interior design of the property is part of the charm of the place. It is by no means 'up to date' but that is what makes it so interesting. There are restaurants, a grocery store, a hair salon and other shops within a short walking distance. We plan to stay there again when we need of a restful getaway. I highly recommend."

"I had booked 2 rooms for 8 family members that were here from Ohio for my Moms 90th surprise Birthday party. They left a gift in the room that was in a birthday bag with tissue paper and bows. You could clearly see it was not garbage. They drove about 10 minutes away they called the hotel and were told the room was cleaned and no package was found. Clearly cleaning staff stole the gift what a shame. Overall experience was very nice the gentleman that checked them in was great. Clearly staff needs to be retrained on etiquette."
