This location was only Radisson in name, it was located and what appeared to be a high crime area with numerous homeless. The building appeared very dirty with worn carpet and numerous cosmetic and structural issues. The business is behind the hotel almost appeared as if they were abandoned buildings based on how poor they were maintained. As it was checking in a man carrying a bag of personal items containing his property from a local jail or prison was checking in front of me.

This property had some pretty critical reviews, so I was a bit worried ahead of my stay. It was a late booking during a conference, so options were limited. The place overall was ok, but limited. The patio was “closed due to restaurant being closed “ which I thought was unique. It could definitely use an update. My main issue is honestly location (which they cannot help). There really aren’t any decent walkable food options for breakfast or dinner. With all the other options in the area, I would probably choose something else.

The people working the front desk are efficient, friendly. The manager was also involved in the day to day activities and very helpful. My room was as expected but the bathroom wasn’t as clean as I like. The shower head was dirty. It would be an added attraction to have coffee and water available (free) and some breakfast foods- like other Hotels offer, in the morning. I will stay here on my next visit to Grand Rapids- The hotel is conveniently located and has access to highways going in all directions.

This hotel was very dirty. The towels were all dirty in our room. There was even a wash rag hanging on the shower rod with body hair on it. The bathroom floor was wet upon our arrival as if someone had just gotten out of the shower. Stains everywhere you look. The sheet on the bed was inside out making me think they just flipped it over after the last person used it. Would never stay here again.

My first room has a towel under the fridge and smelled like it was defrosted that way. Moved to the next where the shower, phone and lamp did not work. Floors were covered in dust and hair. The toilet bowl was covered in urine. The next room was also filthy. You can tell they don't clean their rooms. It's all together bad. And for almost $890 to stay there, I wish I would have paid $1500 somewhere else. Lesson learned, The Radisson is notorious for selling their round down hotels to third parties that can't maintain them because of infrastructure issues. There was mold coming out of the ceiling. The building was dirty outside. Run

Hotel was in a good location but the room had some issues. The air conditioning unit was loud even on a low fan setting. The mini-frig would stop working. I would have to turn the temp control knob off and on again multiple times to get it to turn on. The bathtub water diverter did not work well. Not enough water was diverted to the shower head causing low water pressure.
