"Very charming hotel with amazing details. The decoration is from another world. I never seen such a beautiful decorated hotel in all my travels. As a bonus the hotel staff was very pleasing. I had to request help several times due to personal related issues and the response was always on point. The breakfast was really fresh and high and products with a beautiful view to Budapest city mountain and chain bridge. I highly recommend this hotel and would stay myself here again. "

"Very cool hotel in a great spot within the City Centre - about 2 blocks away from St. Stephan basilica and walking distance to within most sites. Good restaurants nearby (slightly touristy but if you're looking for more local fare there are several good spots close by as well). Very close to public transit and in a good central location that would appeal to most visitors to Budapest. "

"We went to Budapest as a birthday present for my other half. We booked a standard room but i emailed the hotel to try to arrange an upgrade to a suite or Junior suite as a surprise. No reply was forthcoming so I thought i'd discuss this on arrival. When we arrived we were told we'd been upgraded so I thought maybe they'd acted on my email but the room wasn't what I wanted so I went to reception, asked about an upgrade to a suite and to my surprise they gave us a suite at no extra charge. The Suite was fantastic, breakfast excellent and all of the staff couldn't do more for us - they were all wonderful. We were especially happy with János Babolcs in the Lobby who was the loveliest and most helpful person. We usually go for more intimate, boutique style hotels but we couldn't find one that was in the right location so we chose the Continental and we were really glad we did. For us it was a fantastic experience and one which we would wholeheartedly recommend "
