"We had a wonderful stay at Hotel Cerró Lodge. The staff were amazing and made sure that we enjoyed our time. They booked us on a bird and crocodile tour on the Rio Tárcoles that I would certainly recommend. The pizza we had for dinner was delicious. Rooms very clean and comfortable. The surroundings are beautiful and peaceful. I look forward to visiting again!"

"The place is absolutely divine, love the location, serenity and local floral and fauna, but the unit had some really issues. Before I get into those, I asked for early check in weeks in advance because our flight was arriving at 8:30 in the morning. Caught a bus here and when we arrived, they said no early check in, no place to hang out for a few hours, and to come back at 4:00. No matter what we tried, they said absolutely not, come back at 4:00, so we went to a nearby town, brought all of our luggage to the restaurant and hung out there until 3:30, then had to call an Uber, which cost us additional money after already paying for a chartered bus. The unit was beautiful, but had some real issues. First off, the front door lock was being held together by black tape and wasn’t secure, we caught 9 large wasps in one of the bedrooms, the blender didn’t work, which sucked, especially since I had already loaded it with fruit. The TV remote didn’t work and when we requested a new one, there was no response. The manager was somewhat responsive but took a long time to respond on WhatsApp until the last day. I would definitely stay here again, but would highly recommend that these matters be resolved."

"We enjoyed our stay and loved the pool. The house was nice and Each bedroom had a personal bathroom. The AC worked good and Internet too. Lots of wildlife to watch such as toucans, parrots and lizards The Ti Ko restaurant nearby is definitely worth going to but is fairly expensive. We are glad we visited the area but the surrounding towns are not our favorite that we've been too, but would recommend visiting."
