This was our 3rd time to visit Secrets the Vine. Because my husband is handicapped, we enjoy that the resort is easily walkable. The staff is always gracious, helpful and kind. The dining options are very good and we also enjoy the entertainment. Thanks Secrets the Vine for a wonderful relaxing pre Christmas getaway.

We stayed at Secrets The Vine for 6 nights in a Junior Suite Preferred Club on the 24th floor. Overall, we had a great experience, but I’m giving it 4 stars for a few reasons. While the hotel has an excellent atmosphere and friendly staff, the dining experience was inconsistent. All restaurants were crowded, and without reservation options, we waited up to 40 minutes for a table on a couple of nights. Additionally, service during meals could be slow, with delays in getting drinks, appetizers, and main courses. The food was fine but not memorable; I was hoping for standout seafood or authentic Mexican dishes, but nothing really impressed me. However, the buffet was exceptional, offering plenty of options for breakfast and lunch with great service. The poolside experience was a highlight! The staff at the pools were incredibly kind, fun, and made the entertainment activities enjoyable. Our housekeeper, Angela, also went above and beyond—kudos to her!

Property was lovely. Very clean and people that worked there were always available. Restaurants do not take reservations which can cause very long wait times to eat dinner so it’s best to eat early or wait online just after they open, have a late afternoon snack and plan on eating 9PM or later. Daily and evening activities were very good.
