I want to begin by thanking the employees for doing an outstanding job. They made us feel welcome and we received an amazing treatment from them. They always were very attentive and ensure that all our needs were met. I want to mention that the hotel needs to provide more restaurant options for the guests. The hotel does not have enough restaurants that require reservations. These restaurants are small and can’t accommodate a large number of guests. The only other option is to go to the Malva buffet. Mostly all of the evenings you have to wait in line to go in to the buffet and the food is not that good. It’s also frustrating to make a restaurant reservation. Most of the time there was only one employee in charge of making the reservations. There was a long line of guests waiting to make their reservations. I also want to point out that the hotel is outdated. The lobby and the pool areas are great however the hallways where the rooms are and the rooms themselves are way outdated. The plumbing is awful. We saw leaks outside our room and in our room every day. Someone tried to fix the leaks from the hallways and in a few hours it was leaking again. Our room’s sink was almost clogged up and there were leaks all around the bathroom sink and the vanity. The balcony’s ceramic was falling apart. In conclusion the employees hardwork is five stars but it’s difficult to ignore the hotel’s deteriorated condition therefore the hotel should only receive 2-3 stars.

Perfect for a few nights to unwind and rest. We have done many cruises but this beachfront resort is better than most cruises (at the exception of the shows at night. Also no casino but we do not gamble so perfect for us)! The all-inclusive plan is great (especially since we got on special...not sure that I would pay full price though...)! Plenty of good restaurants to pick from (most of them included, except for 2 which we did not even bother checking because they others were already pretty great), great drinks (although not all barman are well-versed in some more specific cocktails...so beware if it does not look or taste quite the same as your fav fancy bar) and great beach (although the waves were a bit rough at the season we went). Pools were great and so were the indoor facilities (we used the game room, family room, spa and gym). We had an all inclusive package that included a 1-day beach cabana privilege (usually an extra charge for this premium benefit). We have done many beaches around the world and usually get beach service. This one was great. The menu is limited but the food/drink they have is quite good (ex: fish taco, wings, guacomole, etc). Service is rapid as well. BUT the poolside menu is NOT the same and the food sometimes comes in cold. So the premium to be on the beach and have better food is worth it, especially if you are beach bums like us and can/plan stay all day on the beach. The Expedia specialists on sites were helpful and came by often.

My partner and I simply wanted to go to a resort that had a nice calm beach option. Paradisus was perfect for what we wanted, a beautiful clean beach with blue water. The restaurant options were really good, with variety for breakfast, lunch and dinner. If you wanted, you don’t even have to leave the resort. There were hip trendy restaurants and a few clubs across the street, and the downtown of Cancun is only a 10 min drive if you wanted to venture out to party.

By far one of the worst resorts I’ve stayed in Mexico. Staff is unwilling to help or accommodate anyone. Our room was literally falling apart. Hot water you would have to wait 30 min before it would even turn hot. Then on the 3rd day there was not hot water. we called the front desk and they said ya we are having issues with the hot water. Management is one of the worst I’ve experienced. I don’t know how Expedia has this property at 4 and half stars. I’d give them a solid 3. Way over priced.
