I booked a private room, but still got the unique experience of a hostel. It’s easy to meet new people in the patio area, and the discotecas are right down the street. The food, drinks, and service were great in the hostel, and it is a 15 minute walk from La Isla shopping center and a hop and skip away from restaurants and convenient stores.

Cool, intimate, & trendy property with walkable location. Convenient with a beach right across the street. Appreciate nightly entertainment in case you don’t feel safe to leave the property at night. There’s also a work space. The dorms have lockers. So bring your own lock or can buy from them for $6. The dorms themselves need more detailed cleaning. The women guests are messy. Old towels need to be taken away. Need more hooks around the quarters to hang our things. Hangars on the lockers are placed too high. How can 5.4’ guests use them? Just some things to improve upon.

I stayed for three nights and had a good time. I went out most of the day and came back mostly just to rest. There is a beach right across the street from the bus stop next to entrance. It is very conveniently located. There’s a supermarket (Chedraui) up the street, a convenience store and pharmacy right across the street. Transportation was always coming by despite it being an “off season” from what I was told.

This is my second time staying at this hostel. I love the walking distance to the beach, OXXO, stores and restaurants. I stayed in a 12-female bed dorm this time around because it was cheaper instead of booking a double room like last time. I’m a plus size girl and was given a top bunk. I wished I was asked at check in for my preference but it wasn’t too bad. I’ll just keep booking a double room from here on out. Also it would be nice if they included breakfast. I could’ve swore that it was but I paid each day. Again it didn’t break me just thought I mention a couple of suggestions. Thanks Mayan Monkey!

It had a cool vibe and organized entertainment and activities for guests! Happy hour drink prices made having a drink there more affordable! Although not outlined anywhere in the booking, we were told once there we couldn’t bring alcohol to our private room.
