We loved the convenient location to the airport, and the easy water transportation to the historic district. Our room was beautiful with a fabulous view of the harbor, and Boston. We hope to return!
Very clean room that met the usual standards that you would expect from a Hyatt property and the staff was very pleasant. However there were two big issues that would keep me from recommending this hotel or staying on a repeat visit.
1.) No working phone line to front desk or airport pickup shuttle on the day of check-in. I had to walk from the airport to the hotel with my baggage since I was unable to contact or arrange pickup from the terminal and paying for a taxi seemed very expensive given how close the property is to Terminal A. The hotel needs to be more proactive in reaching out to arriving guests if there are issues with the phones.
Without a functional shuttle system, it greatly reduced the value of booking at this location. I asked to have my destination fee waived at check-in and the staff agreed to do so based on the inconvenience.
2.) Breakfast service at the restaurant was so slow as to be unusable for me. After 20 minutes after taking my order and waiting for food to arrive, I eventually had to tell the wait staff that I would need to leave. If you do breakfast here, don't order from the menu and just get the buffet option to avoid a long wait.
I ended up leaving without breakfast at all, and with no other breakfast options in the area, it further reduces the likelihood that I would book here again.
I loved the outdoor walkway and most of the staff are polite and professional.
However, there are a lot of hidden charges. It is advertised as1.1 miles from Leader Bank Pavilion as the crow flies. It is NOT walkable and the expense of transportation adds $$$$ to your stay.
The description of checkout includes chocolate - don't forget to ask for it, because they do not offer it.
