The rooms were clean but there was a strong scent of paint in them and in the hallways . Very unpleasant smell. And the pool and hot tub were closed for the season despite it still being 70 degrees out.

Hot tub was closed for the season, we went in November....that is the season for hot tubs! Pool was noted as closed on site, but hot tub was not. We were told we would pay $50 each to use the hot tub that's open in Spa!! Also room stunk so bad!! The smell even got on chlothes we didn't wear. Area around casino ran down, better to stay at Harrah's or golden nugget, better part of town

I have been staying at the Golden Nugget for yeers and after several bad experiences decided to try the IP resort, what a lovely place. All the staff from front desk, restaurant and casino personal made you feel so comfortable and at home. The food at the steak house was exceptional and though a little pricey well worth the experience. I will certainly stay here again.

Even with the curtains drawn, it was very bright in our room making it hard to sleep. There was a weird smell too, not sure if it was some kind of cleaning agent but it was noxious.
