"Everything about this place was fantastic but one thing (I'll get to that at the end). -You can't beat the location. Our lodge was right on the water, and we could see it right outside the room. At night if it got windy, i could open the screen door and hear the waves at night. Better than any noise machine or peaceful music. -The staff was super friendly and helpful. They greet you with a smile and have that typical midwest hospitality. -Free bike and canoe rentals -4 miles of trails to take said bike rental, and an entire bay to canoe on. -Only bad thing was the resturaunt. They sell themsleves as a fancy resturaunt, but the food was mediocre and the service was terrible. Other than that, I'd definitely come again! :D"

"This was a quick getaway to watch the fall leaves. This is an older lodge type location with many homey amenities such as fire pits and local musicians. Because it is older it does show its age. One suggestion is to have at least 1 comfortable chair in the rooms. The wooden chair is very uncomfortable. "
