The airport is small and picturesque, located at the base of the Teton Mountains. Many of Jackson's hotel options and lodges offer airport pickup for guests. If that's not an option, though, taxis are readily available.

The Jackson Hole Valley offers some protection from the elements, but still gets cold in the winter. Lows are typically in the single digits Fahrenheit, but it's not uncommon to see the thermometer dip below zero. To heat things up a bit, try the nightlife at the bars on West Broadway. For a more sophisticated evening out, the Grand Teton Music Festival features performances of classical music during the summer, and on select dates throughout the year.
