If visiting Charlottesville during early August, the Albemarle County Fair is an annual event which features entertainment and activities, with a focus on agriculture within Central Virginia. Other annual events include the Interlocken Music Festival in September, the Ash Lawn Opera Festival in July and August, and the Virginia Wine & Garlic Festival in October.
