After being collected from your resort by your driver and guide, you will begin to discover the Fijian interior and local life aboard a custom-built off-road vehicle. Throughout the tour, your guide will both educate and entertain you all about Fijian history and culture. The scenery on this side of the island is unrivaled, and from this particular point you will feel like you are on top of the world looking down on nature in all its beauty.
Next, after 35 minutes on the road less traveled, you will arrive at the Bete's (priest) House. Here you will have the opportunity to meet his family who are the traditional keepers of Naihehe Cave, and you will also participate in a traditional “Kava” ceremony, seeking permission to enter the cave. With only headlights to light up the cave, you will explore one of Fiji’s greatest treasures that was once a fortress for a cannibal tribe. Whilst within the cave, your guides and drivers are trained to the highest standard, allowing them to lead you safely and comfortably.
Afterwards, you will cool off at the priest's house where a mouthwatering barbecue lunch complete with fresh fruit and juice awaits you. You will then continue to the river bank and board your “Bilibili” to get across the mighty Sigatoka River. Afterwards, you will enjoy a refreshing swim in the beautiful river before taking a journey back to the city and finishing your off-road adventure.
