Attractions and Tips
There is plenty of see and do in Boston including the Freedom Train. Slightly under three miles, you can walk to see several important historical sites including the home of Paul Revere and the Bunker Hill Monument. The Boston Public Garden is less than a mile away from the trail and allows you to escape the busy atmosphere of the city. Right next door is Boston Common, the oldest public park in the United States. Sports fans will want to make a quick stop at Fenway Park, especially if the Red Sox baseball team is playing. Even outside of the season, you can still take a tour.
Because of all the walking and outdoor activities, June to about November is a great time to visit Boston. The weather seems perfect. Summers can be busy but there are many things to do that will spread visitors out across the city. Winters are cold and snowy.
