Richmond International (Byrd Field) (RIC) is the busiest airport in central Virginia and is a joint civil-military airport, reachable via interstate routes 64 and 295, as well as highways 195 and 197. Flight duration is two to three hours to Miami International Airport (MIA), and upon arrival in Miami, you'll be near highways 826, 836 and 112, and Interstate Route 95 close by.
