You can get to Phoenix Sky Harbor International Airport (PHX) by car, light rail train, bus or an airport shuttle. The Terminal 2 drop-off and pickup area is on the north curb, whereas all others are at the north and south curbs.
Travelers to Pittsburgh International Airport (PIT) will find flight times are usually a little over four hours on direct routes. PIT is about 20 miles west of Downtown Pittsburgh and you can depart the airport by taking a taxi or boarding the city bus.
Attractions and tips
Check out the Frick Art and Historical Museum to tour the home of Henry Clay Frick, one of the wealthiest men of the early 20th century. Alternatively, check out Highland Park, a lovely green space that features a couple of lakes. It's also home to the Pittsburgh Zoo and PPG Aquarium.
The Cultural District, located downtown, is where you'll find numerous places to enjoy arts performances, like those from the Pittsburgh Opera and Pittsburgh Ballet Theater.
If you need help getting your bearings or want tips about getting to your hotel before leaving PIT, keep a look out for the airport's volunteer ambassadors. The Northside of Pittsburgh is a popular place for sports-loving travelers to stay and Oakland is perpetually energetic because it's a college area.
