Dallas/Ft Worth International (DFW) is the largest airport serving the Dallas/Fort Worth area and is the biggest hub in the country for American Airlines. The airport is reachable via highways 114, 121 and 183. Typical flight times are three to five hours in duration to Miami International Airport (MIA), and upon landing, transportation is conveniently available on highways 826, 836, 27, 112 and Interstate 95.
Attractions
The Miami Dolphins of the National Football League play their home games here in Sun Life Stadium, and the Miami Heat of the National Basketball Association play their home games at American Airlines Arena. Miami Beach is an island just offshore which is connected to the mainland by bridges, and which has some of the great beaches in the region, as well as a popular Art-Deco District.
Bayside Marketplace is home to more than 150 boutiques and specialty shops, very popular with visitors. The Vizcaya Museum and Gardens features a mansion built in 1916, which is centered on a well-maintained courtyard and garden area, and has 34 rooms. Little Havana is known for its distinctive Cuban atmosphere and cultural appeal.

Miami has hot, humid summers, with temperatures averaging in the high 80s and low 90s, while winters usually dip into the 50s and 60s. From May through October, Miami receives most of its rainfall, and this can be abundant at times, so pack accordingly if you visit during this timeframe.
