About Barclays Center
The Barclays Center is located in the New York City Borough of Brooklyn. The stadium was opened in September, 2012. Jay-Z’s concert was the first ever event to be held at the stadium. It was held 7 days after the stadium was opened. While Barclays is famous worldwide for its role in soccer, the home teams at the center are basketball and hockey teams. The tenants of the Barclays Center are as follows, the Brooklyn Nets (since its opening in 2012), LIU Blackbirds (since its opening in 2012), and the New York Islanders (since 2015).
