A love story for the 1990s

A chance meeting between high-powered corporate raider Edward Lewis and struggling prostitute Vivian Ward spins out into a romp of attitude and flirtation. Edward hires Vivian to accompany him on a weeklong business trip, and the two slowly fall in love as they challenge and influence each other. His heart softened by Vivian, Edward breaks off the corporate take-over he was planning, rescuing Vivian afterwards when his outrage partner tries to rape her in revenge. With his business concluded, it looks like the two will go their separate ways – until Edward makes a grand gesture and captures Vivian's heart.
