About Foo Fighters

The Foo Fighters have connected with millions of fans worldwide with their intense, post-grunge sound and raw, punky lyrics. Their concerts are guaranteed to sell out, so don't wait! Get your cheap Foo Fighters tickets here to experience the electrifying music of the Foo Fighters for yourself!

Their Beginning

The Foo Fighters were founded around Seattle in 1994. Shortly after the death of Nirvana, lead singer Kurt Cobain and Nirvana drummer Dave Grohl decided that it was time to go back into the recording studio. While on tour before the death of Cobain, Grohl had written over 40 songs. It was with these songs that he formed the band Foo Fighters. Originally Grohl was the only member of the band, performing all the instruments and vocals on the first album Foo Fighters. He came up with the name after reading several books on UFOs, and Foo Fighters was what they were also known to be called. Wanting to remain anonymous he had decided to not put his name on the album but rather use a band name, convincing people that it was more than one musician involved. After the album was released several record labels became interested in the band. With all the sudden attention Grohl decided he need to recruit some band mates, which is when Nate Mendel, Pat Smear, Taylor Hawkins, Chris Shiflett and Rami Jaffee joined the band. On February 23, 1995 the band made their first public appearance at a club in California.

Since 1995, the band has produced 9 albums, developing their sound and experimenting with new genres and methods, all the while staying true to their authentic lyrics and charged vocals. Their albums have sold over 12 million copies in just the US and their smash hit singles include songs like "Everlong," "Learn to Fly," and "Best of You." Having won over 25 awards, Foo Fighters concerts are a once-in-a-lifetime experience. The energy is so all-encompassing and the connection between the performers and the audience is so intimate that even when Dave Grohl fell off the stage and broke his leg in 2015, he still hobbled out on a makeshift cast to finish the set. It's impossible to beat a show like that, so don't wait — get your cheap Foo Fighters tickets here today!
